Our art isn’t restricted to our culture.

Beyond Borders is an exhibition presented by and for Cleveland Institute of Art students, featuring art from a variety of artists and a range of majors. The show aims to portray Latino artists as multifaceted individuals who not only promote the rich history of their culture but also explore interests beyond their cultural identity.

Beyond Borders will be on view March 4–29 in CIA's Alan Lipson Gallery. A closing reception will be held from 5 to 7pm Friday, March 29.

Join us in celebrating the Latinx students at CIA for Latinx Club’s first-ever exhibition!

Visitors to the closing reception of Beyond Borders are invited to park in CIA's Lot 73 and Annex Lot. Once parked, visitors should use Entrance C to get to the exhibition. Please refer to this map.

Please note that signs posted around CIA's parking lots correctly state that parking typically requires a CIA permit or visitor pass and that violators will be ticketed. However, to accommodate our valued Beyond Borders attendees, that policy won't be enforced during the closing reception.
