Office of the President

President Kathryn Heidemann is the the 11th president to serve the College. Heidemann presides over CIA’s programs of study in art and design and is responsible for building community connections to help CIA achieve its long-term goals. For more information, visit the Office of the President.

Executive Administration

Assisting the efforts of the president are members of the executive administration. Some members of the administrative team are artists themselves, while other members have had a long-standing career in higher education.

Board of Directors

CIA is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible for managing the College’s financial assets and ensuring CIA’s long-term success. Many of its members are alumni, professional artists and designers, and community members who strongly support the arts.
